After reading the artical, i felt that singapore youth have to be more thrifty. According to the artical, most youth are experiencing financial predicament. Survey result that most singaporean have about 5 credit cards at any one time. As stated in the report that they own credit card is because of different credit card have different privileges and discounts, this maybe the main reasoin of having more than 1 credit cards. by haveing more credit cards, it means that they can spent more on credit.
They will tend to forgot how much they spent on credit till the bill have arrive. Therefore this will lead them to over spending the amount they earn.
singapore is said to be a food paradise and thus, food which is of course the top expenditure amoung singaporean.
saving is very important and most of us know that saving is important. however some of them have not start saving. this maybe because they thinks that they are still young and so, they have plenty of time to save their money. but they do not know when is the raining days, therefore singapore must start saving as early as possible to plan for the furture.
